The Business and Professional Women of Nigeria has concluded plans to hold a national conference for about 250 active participants of the group, who are expected to come from all over Nigeria and Africa.

The group which is led by Mrs Angela Ajala, as president, has memberships in over 90 countries around the world and has a consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council of Europe.

Titled 'Women in Real Business: Doing business the right way', the conference will focus on the launch of the United Nation's Women/ Global Compact Women's Empowerment Principles.

"We will at this conference be inviting statements of support from chief executives officers and motivational talks by Patrica Omoqui, an international speaker, coach as well as author," said Yinka Ajibola, head of the local organising committee.
