Angola's minister of Family and Woman Promotion, Filomena Delgado, on Monday here pointed out woman promotion, increase of family competences in the rural areas as the actions that will deserve a special attention on the part of the sector in the coming five years, Angop learnt.

The minister said so during an act that marked her presentation as the new minister of the sector, following the August 31, 2012.

general elections, won by the ruling MPLA party and its presidential candidate, José Eduardo dos Santos.

She said the institution wants to continue developing efforts with the participation of other partner of the institutions of the Executive in order to work towards the improvement of the conditions of the women and Angolan families in general.

In her turn, the outgoing Minister, Genoveva Lino, welcomed the new Minister, having called on the workers to collaborate with her.
