A Women group, Nigerian Female Students Network (NIFEST) has called on the Kogi State Governor Idris Wada to ensure gender equality in the appointment of his cabinet.President of the association, Comrade Blessing Alaofin,

who made the call at the weekend in Lokoja while presenting an award to governorship candidate of Justice Party in the last governorship election in the state, Aisha Audu, said apart from being mothers, women have great potentials that can help in transforming the state.

Mrs Audu who is now the Special Adviser to the Governor on Investment and International Relations, thanked the group for the award, saying it would spur her to work hard for the development of the state.
